7-Day Serengeti Nomads Classic Safari with Kilimanjaro Hike

Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport, our driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals area, holding a sign with your name for easy recognition. You will then be transferred to your accommodation in Moshi town for an overnight stay, where you can unwind and get ready for your Kilimanjaro day hike the next day.

Your Kilimanjaro day trip starts with a morning pick-up from Brubru Lodge, followed by a drive to the Marangu Gate for registration. Accompanied by a guide, you’ll trek through the lush rainforest towards Mandara Hut, taking in breathtaking scenery and spotting unique wildlife. After a picnic lunch, you’ll descend back to the gate. The day concludes with a transfer to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can relax and unwind after your adventure.

Your safari adventure begins today! After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at 8:00 a.m. for a picturesque two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Enjoy an exhilarating game drive through diverse landscapes, spotting a variety of wildlife from an open-roof vehicle. Pause for a scenic picnic lunch before continuing your exploration. As the day winds down, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your adventure continues as you journey toward the Serengeti. While the drive may be long and occasionally rugged, it offers 4 to 5 hours of exceptional wildlife viewing as you pass through the crater highlands toward the endless Serengeti plains. If the weather allows, you’ll stop briefly at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint to take in the breathtaking caldera before continuing your safari.

En route, you’ll enjoy a scenic picnic lunch surrounded by the beauty of the wilderness. Upon arriving in the Serengeti, an afternoon game drive will introduce you to the park’s abundant wildlife. As the sun sets, you’ll proceed to your accommodation for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.

This remarkable ecosystem is home to diverse East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino, which you may be fortunate to spot. Spanning 260 square kilometers with a diameter of about 20 kilometers, the crater takes around 5 hours to explore fully. After an unforgettable day, you’ll head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast while reminiscing about your unforgettable safari adventures. Afterward, check out from your lodge around 10:30 a.m. or earlier, depending on your flight schedule. You will then be transferred to your preferred destination—either a hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro or directly to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport—marking the end of your incredible journey.
