Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, our airport driver will pick you up and transfer you to the Hotel in Arusha. After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Begin your adventure with a morning game drive to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. You’ll break for lunch during the drive, surrounded by the park’s stunning scenery. In the afternoon, continue with a sunset game drive before heading to Elephant’s Springs Camp for an overnight stay, enjoying the luxury and tranquility of this exclusive camp within Tarangire’s natural beauty.

Depart for Lake Eyasi, where you’ll visit the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, learning about their traditional ways of life, bushcraft, and hunting skills. Continue to Karatu for an overnight stay at The Retreat at Ngorongoro, a luxurious lodge with stunning views.

Scenic drive from Karatu to Serengeti, passing through the picturesque Ngorongoro Highlands. Estimated time of arrival at Serengeti Naabi Hill Gate will be around 2pm. Afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, famous for its wide plains, big cats, and annual wildebeest migration. Overnight at Serengeti Sametu Camp, a premium camp in a remote area of the park.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, begin the day with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most abundant wildlife areas. This natural wonder spans roughly 260 square kilometers (100 square miles) and is the largest inactive, unfilled volcanic caldera in the world. The crater floor is home to a dense population of wildlife, including endangered black rhinos, elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, and countless bird species.
Spend the day on a game drive, exploring the crater’s diverse ecosystems—from grasslands and acacia forests to freshwater lakes. Break for lunch at a scenic picnic spot, where you can take in the surrounding beauty and maybe even spot hippos in nearby waterholes. After a day of incredible wildlife viewing, return to Lion’s Paw Ngorongoro Camp for a relaxing overnight stay.
Alternatively, you may choose to return to the lodge after the game drive to enjoy a leisurely hotlunch.
