Lake Manyara National Park

Seasons at Lake Manyara National Park

• Dry Season (June to October): During this period, water sources shrink, and animals concentrate around the lake, making wildlife viewing easier. The park is drier, and the skies are clearer, offering great photographic opportunities. Flamingos gather along the lake’s edge, and sightings of elephants, giraffes, and zebras are common.
• Wet Season (November to May): The rainy season transforms the park, covering it in lush greenery. Migratory birds arrive, making it a haven for birdwatching. Many animals are more active, and the landscape is vibrant, though the vegetation can make spotting wildlife a bit more challenging.
